Things that come and go

Thinking about it today everything comes and go's nothing really stays permante. Just htink about it, that angry moment you had at a certain someone, that doesnt last forever. I sit here wondering what really does last forever?  In my head the only things that we can make last forever is all of the memories that we have, but even those can fade away. Moving forward instead of lasting forever maybe we should just focous on the moment, focous on making the most of right now. Im not sure where all this came from but its just something that I needed to get off my chest.

My son is born

My son is now almost three months old and these three months have been quite the obstacle course. I have learned that being dad is going to be one of the greatest adventures i have ever been on. It too will be an ever lasting adventure that will always be a learning process. Patience is going to be my best friend and not worrying about what i did wrong will be important to remember. It would be neat to see how other new fathers adjust, I wonder how the fathers in our birthing class are handling new baby. One thing is for sure , for every bad night my sons smile alleviates the stress, for ever bad day at work my sons smile makes me forget the day, and for every moment Im away  from him he's smile lets me know its okay.

Passion

Passion, Passion is a word that everyone of us has heard before. The question is what is your passion? Its important to come up with a  meaning for passion that best suits your life style. What is my passion? My passion in life is the get the most out of myself, whether if that's in school, as a new father or whatever it maybe just be the best at it, give it my all.  One major issue i believe that is causing our youth to not succeed in life is they are not fully aware or passionate about anything. There is no drive to be the best you that you can be.

Its time for a change, our community leaders, our teachers, and parents need to point kids in the right direction. Let these kids to know that right now before there feet hit the floor from bed, there's two choices. Choice number one being continue down a pointless lifestyle or option two take grasp of your life find out what your passion is and take a hold of it!

Technology in my life

I'm starting a new blog feature today, Yes of course it has been a while since I have blogged and most of my post in the past have been just about everything. Now i am going to take a different approach, I am taking a online class in mass communications and now realize how much technology is running my life and I thought i would blog about it.

First things first

Cell Phones

When i first got a cell phone it was only to be used in case of emergency's. I think it was in 1998 when i first had my cell phone and I the plan was for only 70 minutes a month. Thats been over 13 years ago and I now cant imagine not having my cell phone. With the advancement of cell phones there is some worry that you can never get away. I believe at times people surround there life with what they have in there cell phone. It use to be the other way around and like cell phones other technology controls our society. I'm not sure what the future holds but i do think that technology is only going to be apart of it. Just remember to step away every now and then breath the air that nature provides for us with out the interruption of a cell phone buzzing.

An Example of the problem with society

Now think about how much uncertainty is going on with the State economy. Think about how much money the man makes who writes this article. One more thing think about how hard you work to pay bills and get by month to month.

I hate to argue this point, but being a state employee/student/provider for my family its a difficult time to buy two tickets for 120 bucks, 100 bucks in gas, at least 50 bucks in food. Not to mention depending what time the game you may have to get a hotel room. Priorities first, hope we win and hope we have a good showing. I’m not saying don't support ECU but I do believe this is an example of how our society place's the importance of wants over needs.

Hello

Well its been awhile since my last post, i think i have improved on some things. The biggest thing is God back in my life and realizing nothing can be accomplished without the power of the Lord by your side. Although i have made some things better in my life there is still room to grow. Thats ok! When you stop growing as a person i think it means you stop learning, living, and thinking. Im trying to learn how to live freely and see the world in a better light. Its easier to do that now since Im letting God's Light shine back down on me.

Since my last post i have done the following:

Became a Uncle, My Sister had twins

Took a trip this past summer to one of the most beautiful places in the world Maine

I look forward to expressing my thoughts more often.
